Peanut Butter Blossoms

Peanut butter and chocolate are the pretty much my favorite combination on earth.  These things are pretty much a Reese's inside-out, or something of the sort.  Take your first bite when the chocolate kisses are glossy and MELTING!!!!

To a bowl, dump in 1 1/2 cup flour, 3/4 teaspoon soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.  Set aside.

To an electric mixer, mix together 1/2 slightly softened butter,

And 1 cup creamy peanut butter.

To that add 1 cup sugar, and beat until fluffy.

Now add 1 egg, (By the way, like my half painted nails?)

and 2 teaspoons vanilla.  Cream until color is lite and fluffy.

Add the flour mixture and mix to combined.

Roll the dough into 1 inch ball, roll in sugar, and place on baking sheet.  Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until puffed.  right after the cookies come out of the oven, press a dark chocolate kiss into the cookie. Or in my case, a milk chocolate kiss with almonds.

ENJOY!
