Banana Bread Pancakes

Ever want banana bread but don't want to have to wait an hour?  Don't have eggs?  MAKE THESE PANCAKES.  I made these for my dad, who loves banana bread, and loves pancakes, so this was PERFECT.  And, it left more eggs for dying!

First, to a bowl, add 2 cups flour, (The original recipe says whole wheat)

2 teaspoons baking powder,

1/4 cup brown sugar,

1/4 teaspoon salt,

1 teaspoon cinnamon,

and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Measure 2/3 cup milk,

and add 1 tablespoon vanilla to it.

Add it to the flour mixture,

And mix.  The mixture will be very dry, let not your heart be troubled!

Mash about 3 large bananas,

And add them to the flour/milk mixture.

also add 2 tablespoons melted butter.

Mix to combined.  If the mixture is very thick, add milk until it is almost a liquid.  Pour batter onto a hot griddle, and flip when edge is slightly dry.

For the maple glaze:
This is totally optional.  Measure 1/2 cup maple syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Add 3/4 cup powdered sugar, and mix to combined.

Pour over pancakes, and sprinkle with pecans.

Enjoy!
