Delicious Homemade Bread

I have a little helper!  The point is, this recipe is SOOOO  easy.  Throw it together the night before, and have wonderful yeast bread the next day.  Fun for hyper little kids who beg to cook with you and BEG you to put them on your blog.

Look how amazing that looks!  Isn't it perty?

See, kids.  Especially made.

First, drop 3 cups flour into a gallon Ziploc bag.

 Add 2 heaping tsp. salt

and 1 package rapid rising yeast.  If you want, add 1/4 cup sugar.

Seal up the bag,

And have someone with little hands shake it up for you.

Add 1 1/3 cups tepid water.

Have another person with little hands sort of knead the ingredients together.  Open the bag, and let rise for at least 2 hours.  If you prefer, put the dough in the fridge for up to 24 hours.  When you are ready to bake, preheat oven to 450.  Sprinkle a flat, dry surface with flour.  Put the dough on top, and add enough flour to keep it from sticking.  Ether put the dough in a loaf pan, or plop it on a cookie sheet.  Bake for 25-30 minutes.

I looooove the fluffiness.

And I loooove the CRUST!!  And you can do SO many things with this.  Like you can make my bread pudding, or you can just roll it out, throw some cinnamon and sugar on it, roll it up, and bake!  Try different things, get creative!  Then if it's a success, tell me about it!  I might even make it and post it on my blog!!

Enjoy!

And boy, was that bread pudding great! The bread is very good by itself, with or without butter or jam. All the family loves it.
