Chocolate Chip Cookies & Camping!

Notice that I am doubling this recipe, I made this for BJ's Eagle ceremony.  I went camping this week end, and RIGHT before I went, I baked cookies for BJ's Eagle ceremony.  BJ IS A EAGLE IN BOY SCOUT'S!!  Any way, who does not like a simple glass of milk and cookies?  I know I'd raise my hand on that one!  

First, to a bowl, mix together 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon soda and 1 teaspoon salt.

Now, to an electric mixer, cream together 1 cup softened butter.

Add 3/4 cup sugar,

3/4 cup brown sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Mix to combined.

Now add 2 eggs, one at a time, until nice and fluffy.

SLOWLY add the flour mixture.

Mix that to combined.

Now, CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!  Dump in 2 cups.

You can also add pecans, my family likes them with pecans.

Scoop them out onto a baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes at 375.

This butterfly actually let me get close to it!  I love going camping.  I hope you do too.
