Apple Up-Side-Down Cake

peel and chop up some green apples.  (2 to 3)  (1 1/2 cups)  (sorry about the excessive semi-colons)

To a sauce pan, melt 3 tablespoons butter with 3/4 cup brown sugar.  And for goodness sake do not burn this!  Do not let it boil, please.

Pour the mixture into a 9" cake pan.

Oh, do you see this blank space?  Just pretend it's a picture of me sprinkling the chopped apples on the syrup.  It happens.

To make the biscuits, pour in 2 cups flour,

1 teaspoon salt,

2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon soda, and 1 teaspoon sugar.

Then 3/4 stick frozen butter, and grate it.  Have you ever grated butter?  No.  You have not.

Throw it into the flour mixture, and mix that together.

Pour  in 1 cup buttermilk.

Pat them into biscuits and put them on the apples.

Bake them at 450 for 25 to 30 minutes.

Put it on a thingy, and look what a beautiful  cake you have made!

Voala!  An easy, pull-apart sweet bread.  EAT THIS WARM.  EAT THIS WITH ICE CREAM OR SWEETENED WHIP CREAM.  If you don't.......   I'll personally go to your house and spank you.    Basic breakfast potatoes up next!

Enjoy!
